WHI Student Society

In July 2019, WHI and students from the Faculty of Health Sciences founded the WHI Student Society. The society is dedicated to the growth of learners across the university, focusing on innovation in healthcare. Working with students from all Wits faculties, we challenge students to find creative solutions to healthcare problems in South Africa. In 2019 our students society successfully held Wits MedX. The society currently has over 200 members is currently working on innovative ways of bringing medical education to students during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have supported students so far by sourcing the donation of 200 high-quality visors to students in need.
